14th Annual MATTONI GRAND DRINK
The BAI has received an invitation to nominate one bartender to compete at the 14th MATTONI GRAND DRINK. This International non-alcoholic mineral water cocktail competition will take place in the historical city of Prague, Czech Republic, from 1st to 3rd October. This competiion is open to BAI MEMBERS ONLY and interested parties should email their recipe and a photo of their cocktail to the BAI President (baipresident@gmail.com) for consideration. The closing date for entry is Friday 10th September and the winner will be announced during Monday 13th.

BOLS Liqueur Cocktail Competition
This competition will take place in Dublin in late October 2010. Details will be announced later this month.

Ireland’s top FLAIR bartenders put on an amazing display of bottle & shaker juggling for a large audience at the National FLAIR Cocktail Competition 2010 held on Wednesday 7th July at the Dandelion Bar, St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2 and organised by the Bartenders Association of Ireland. . National Cocktail Competition 2010

Martin Meade, F & B Manager at the Dylan Hotel, Dublin 4 won the National Cocktail Competition which was sponsored by Edward Dillon & Co. Ltd held at the Hospitality Expo Show in the RDS, Dublin on Tuesday 9th March. Martin will represent Ireland in Singapore at the World Cocktail Competition in November.
